Welcome to Canada

Well hello there, Its nice to finally catch up. So I've been here in Montreal for a week now and let me tell you it's been quite the journey. Upon entering Canada and going through customs I was selected for a secondary inspection of my luggage, because when you have multiple suitcases they want to know what you are doing here. So needless to say I had all of my suitcase unpacked, gone through, without a care from the agent as to how long it took me to pack all of my stuff. so after about 30 mins I was able to leave, so here I am trying to shove all my stuff back into said suitcases just to get out of the airport only to find I would be returning.... I took a taxi from the airport to the place I'm staying at and I had my backpack with me on the floor of the cab, we arrive I'm paying the driver the suitcases are being unloaded from the back and I get out of the taxi of course I.m tired from travelling all day I didn't realize I had left my backpack until I was in th

6 days left

Hello. Well I've got 6 days left until my departure, feeling  so many emotions right now, I've packed and unpacked countless times trying to figure out what is necessary for me to take, so far I've narrowed it down to 2 big suitcases a carry-on and my backpack. its not like I haven't done this before. I think its just knowing that I can't control what lies ahead for me. Its taking that leap of faith and trusting in myself. I am in charge of me. the road may be windy and filled with some bumps along the way but that is all part of the journey. I'm not going to lie its a bit daunting to pick up and move to a new county.I think often to my self am I to old to be doing this?  No age is only a number and should never stop you from seeking out your dreams. I always try to push myself to do better to be better. it sure is setting in when you realize pretty much everything you own is contained within these 3 suitcases. Wish me luck I will be in touch again soon.

Hello Friends, My Name Is Jason Herman and I'm about to embark on a new journey, I am very excited to share my story with you through pictures, posts, and experience. now here's a bit about me. I'm always up for a new adventure I like to immerse myself in different cultures and a new way of living. some of you know that I had the opportunity to live in Mexico for 5 years, this was a wonderful experience filled with great memories that I will always cherish, I had the chance to open a cafe and be in charge of the menu, this was a great learning experience for me. I've been working in the restaurant industry for well over 18 years now and usually working to put money into someone else's pocket. not always a bad thing because sometimes its just nice to be the employee, I've always been the type of person to take ownership of where you work, to give it your all I think this is why I will always seek out family owned restaurants. when you own a place that is yours
